Applications of oil cooler
Copper tube bundle coolers are the industry standard for a vast range of applications using fresh water or glycol-based coolants:
- Industrial Machinery: Hydraulic systems, gearboxes, compressors, presses.
- Power Generation: Diesel and gas engine jacket water and lube oil cooling.
- Marine Engines: Crucial distinction: Used for engine-side cooling (e.g., lube oil cooler) when the coolant is fresh water from the boat’s closed-loop system. They are not used for raw seawater cooling.
- Automotive and Heavy Equipment: Some engine and transmission oil coolers.
