Advantages of Adiabatic Cooling Tower

  • High Energy Efficiency: By pre-cooling the air, the system can achieve fluid temperatures much closer to the wet-bulb temperature, similar to a full evaporative cooler, but without exposing the process fluid to the outside air.
  • Water Conservation: Uses up to 80% less water than a traditional open-circuit evaporative (wet) cooling tower because water is only used for air pre-cooling, not for the entire heat load.
  • Closed-Loop Circuit: The process fluid being cooled is in a sealed loop, protecting it from exposure, contamination, scaling, and fouling. This is critical for cooling sensitive equipment like HVAC chillers, industrial processes, and data centers.
