A Pultruded Cooling Tower is a cooling tower whose structural framework is made from pultruded FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) sections instead of traditional materials like wood, steel, or concrete.

Pultrusion – Quick Note

• Pultrusion = a continuous manufacturing process used to produce fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) structural sections with high strength and corrosion resistance.
• The process pulls (not pushes) fiberglass strands through a resin bath and then through a heated die to form structural shapes (beams, channels, angles, etc.).
