Common Applications of forced draft air cooled heat exchanger
Forced Draft coolers are often selected for specific applications where their advantages are critical:
- Low to Medium Temperature Duty: Where the process fluid temperature is not extremely high.
- Dirty/Corroded Environments: Where the risk of process-side leakage is high, and containing the fluid is a priority. The positive pressure prevents dust from being sucked into the fins.
- Water-Cooled Replacement: In many general-purpose cooling applications where their simplicity and lower initial cost are advantageous.
- Situations where easy bundle cleaning is critical: For example, cooling a fluid that is prone to fouling or in dusty environments where the outside of the tubes need frequent cleaning.
