Compact Heat Exchangers

Compact heat exchangers are used in a great variety of applications. They allow for an increased heat transfer rate, require less volume and weigh less compared to other heat exchanger types. The disadvantage is the higher pressure drop.

  2. KM type with retractable tube bundle

Thanks to special welding know-how, we are in a position to achieve a 20% higher level of efficiency with compact heat exchangers versus conventional shell-and-tube heat exchangers. For this reason, compact heat exchangers are small in size.
