 Sanitary Heat Exchangers

Pharmaceutical & Food Grade Hea

t Exchangers

A new series of heat exchangers designed and engineered for the pharmaceutical and food industries and suitable all applications requiring compliance with FDA and 3A specifications.

The unique construction of the S-Line Sanitary heat exchangers prevents cross-contamination of fluid media, even in case of unsealing of the tube sheet-tube connections. This advanced design also ensures correct operation in applications requiring the highest standards of cleanliness.

Applications

1. Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Clean Steam, Blood Plasma

2. Food Processing, Beverage, Dairy, Brewery, Juice

3. Cosmetics, Fragrances

4. Semiconductor

5. High Purity

Standard Materials Heat Exchangers:

Stainless Steel 316L or Titanium

Maximum Working Pressure Heat Exchangers:

Up to 145 PSI (10 bar) in Tubes

Up to 232 PSI (16 bar) in Shell

Maximum Working Temperature & Heat Exchangers:

Up to 284°F (140°C) Tube Side (Viton seal)

Up to 250°F (121°C) Tube Side (Silicon seal)

Up to 397°F (203°C) Shell Side

Heat exchangers are fabricated with the distinctive AIC helically corrugated tube design. Intended for use with high fluid flows and low temperature variances, these robust, compact units are ideal for many residential and industrial applications.

Their complete stainless steel welded structure ensures product strength and high quality performance.

Therma line offers a durable tie-bolt style frame line with a focus on sanitary design, simplicity, and dependability. Most frames are precision machined from solid 300 series stainless steel. High pressure frames are carbon steel clad with 300 series stainless steel and seal welded. We also offer an economical epoxy-painted carbon steel option.

The reliability and sturdiness of the LENS heat exchangers rest on their materials of construction, and application support features. All parts of the unit are fabricated from 316 stainless steel for strength of structure, fully passivated and externally electropolished for advanced corrosion resistance. High grade Viton gaskets are used for a superior seal to handle a broad spectrum of fluids in chemical processes. Expansion joints are built in to handle a wide range of temperature differentials, while unique segmental baffles serve even and complete flow distributions.
