Copper Tube Heat Exchangers:

Overview:

Copper tube Heat exchangers are devices that transfer heat in order to achieve desired heating or cooling. An important design aspect of heat exchanger technology is the selection of appropriate materials to conduct and transfer heat fast and efficiently. these are many desirable properties for thermally efficient and durable heat exchangers. First and foremost, copper is an excellent conductor of heat. This means that copper’s high thermal conductivity allows heat to pass through it quickly.

Principles of Copper tube heat exchangers alloy tube and pipes, such as Al-brass, 90-10 Cu-Ni and others are widely used in tubular heat exchangers and piping systems. The medium flowing through the tubes is in general seawater, brackish water or fresh water. Under unfavourable conditions chloride-containing water can initiate corrosion on tube and plate material, particularly if the water is polluted or contains solid particles. In such cases suitable counter-measures should be applied. these tubes are made with non-toxic, low temperature allow based on the cunning system, it can be brazed in the same vacuum and controlled atmosphere furnaces used for aluminum radiators and at the same temperature .
